As of this morning 5:22/25 Hive Service is down they are currently aware of it and working on restoring Services soon as possible keep checking back for updates. From the main screen of the firestick where the Hive Icon is, you can select Filrise or Freevee for the time being. Also this is another reason to have the combo apps and be able to swtch to another provider and still have tv for only $15/ more a month!!

8:45pm I was just informed that within the next hr hive will be up and running. 

If you are using the new Hive should be good to go. If using  the old hive, sign in using the temporary dns box and will work, when done and that option goes away you will then sign in the normal way.

We changed the way you select your plans with a drop down list when paying your bill which should be much easier just know what app you're using click on it click the drop down list for the one that you want and go from there. Please let us know if this is much easier in the review comments section it would be greatly appreciated

There is some work being done in black rose and black rose sparkle not all channels are affected work should be completed soon.

Update: 03/03pm 95% of channels are up and running. Should be completed soon.

Our neighbors to the north near Georgia and North Carolina and South Carolina are getting hit with some bad storms it's affecting some of the streams in our area so please be patient they will be back up soon

There is some updating being done and some channels will be out as they update the system. Many channels are still working and should be done soon. For those using Hive, backup program it is working fine.

Update: As of 09:14am it is now back up and all is good

Our new Blackrose Sparkle and Hive Sparkle are now available.  You would have to install the new version as it is not an upgrade to the current version. Simply purchase and then download the available pdf instructions.

Some of the new features are a new interface main screen, global search so easier to find what you want. No more double click for full screen option. No more changing player options for movies and series not loading now automatic. Supports 4k and much faster loading times for channels. Be able to view your tv guide while still watching tv.

In the old black rose your expiration date was on the main screen on the bottom with the new Black Rose Sparkle, This player doesn't have it listed but there is a way to find it follow these steps below:

• From Main Screeen of Black Rose Sparkle, click Settings
• Click Playlist
• Choose your Playlist
• Xtreme codes parameters, shows expiration and connections

As mentioned in a previous article about internet throttling when certain times of the day are the busiest times internet companies the scumbags they are like to mess with people's speeds to provide speed that's needed in other areas.

Cleaning the fire stick on a regular basis once a month restarting your internet router are all good practices to keep your fire stick running smoothly. When issues like this happen the best answer is not a different internet company or more speed the answer is a VPN virtual private Network that hides your digital ID from your internet provider so they can't affect your speed. We have one that you can download for free called proton VPN.

I know this works because I've had people that have AT&T internet and couldn't even get logged on but the minute you turned on the VPN they got right in no problem whatsoever because it changed the ID of their device and AT&T had no clue who it was.

We can certainly help you get a VPN installed if your local to us we can come out and set it up for you for a small fee just for time and travel

Having a combo package allows you to have an alternative when one service may be down or have issues and you were currently watching something. They are seperate from each other so one could be down the other will not. Good example was blackrose having issues this morning of 03/27/25 but Hive the alternative was working fine. 

We are talking .50 more a day for a total of only $15.00 more a month added to your blackrose and have peace of mind. $45 a month is still way cheaper than cable.

The catchup feature known as DVR is now up and running. The channels are loading slowly so just be patient but they will come up

As of this morning 3/11/25, all the networks are now working for Jacksonville there still may be some issues but they've been able to get back on track thank you for your patience

Black Rose TV Guide under the section premium movies some of the Crave channels are not showing the guide. We are aware of the situation and looking into a remedy to fix it as soon as possible. Periodically from the main screen of black rose where it says Live TV TV Guide VOD and Series, in the top right hand corner is an update button you can periodically click that and it'll Force an update until we can find the problem. 

There is no perfect time for a company to be able to reboot if they're adding content or adding a server to keep up with all the added content. There are going to be times when they shut down to add another server or restart one after adding content and boot the system back up. We're a small company but for the content you get and the price you pay, $1 a day I know it's an inconvenience but at times it's a chance to go get some snacks and wait 10 minutes and be able to continue watching what you are watching. many of the movies or shows are in series and VOD and can always watch where you left off when the interuption happened.

Calling me after hours or texting is not going to solve the problem as I'm not in control of when they do their work. I use the service as well and am a victim to it also.

During the time they were preparing for the Super Bowl this incident started it has been reported as it's currently still not working.

To fix this go to main screen of Blackrose, top riught hand corner, click on update wait till done, then try to open TV GUIDE not Live TV, if then guide kicks out to main screen of Blackrose, then repeat 2-3 more times and keep checking guide, it will come back and then be fine. It's updating but in segments and just needs to be done this way and then will be fine after that.
